TV show Emmy nominations are announced on Tuesday and it looks like some of the most anticipated nominees for this year’s Emmys are set to take home awards.
The list of nominations includes eight new shows that have already been nominated, along with a few returning favorites.
Here’s a look at some of these shows that we’re anticipating winning the Emmy, which will be announced in December:The CW’s Arrow is in the mix, but we suspect it won’t get the nomination.
The Arrow won the award in 2015 for Outstanding Drama Series, and this year the show has been renewed for a fourth season.
Bravo is set to get the Emmy nomination for Out of the Park: The Musical, but a new show called Rampage is in the running for Outstand Achievement in Animation, a category that doesn’t allow a new animated show to be nominated for the Emmys this year.
Fargo will also be getting the award this year for Out-of-Home Animation, as well as Outstanding Achievement in Comedy.
Coco is in contention for Outstays, but it seems likely that the show will only get a nomination for out-of home animation.
Fox’s new drama series The Orville is also in contention, and will also receive a nomination in Outstanding Outstanding Television Series.
ABC’s new dramas Once Upon a Time and How to Get Away With Murder are also in the race for Outlasting Achievement in Television, but both of these are currently on hiatus.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Supergirl are also vying for Outstay Achievement in Animated Program.
NBC’s The Blacklist and Gotham are also two new shows on the list that we think are a good fit for Out staying.
TNT’s Superstore and The Mindy Project are also nominated for Out, and both are in contention.
In the end, the Emmies nomination is up to the producers and the network.
There are some new shows we think could win the Emmie award, but only one of them is likely to be announced as the winner this year, so stay tuned for more details as the nominations come in.
